| The more mechanics turned on, the better your loot gets. Some items can only be obtained from Hardmode. You are allowed to craft a task-completing unique if you have the required levels to do so. From the Master tier onwards, you can also level up your skills to craft a task-completing unique. | |

The final task is for completion of the The Cold Never Bothered Me Anyway achievement.

- Glacor Remnants and Dark Nilas' share a portion of the drop table, with remnants more common with fewer mechanics and nilas' more common with more mechanics
- The number of Dark Nilas dropped in hard mode increases with enrage
- Drop rate can be increased by 2% with enriched pontifex shadow ring
- Only drops with all 5 mechanics enabled
- Drop rate affected by enrage and streak as shown in this discussion

The log does not require creation of the enhanced gloves using the Leng artefact, nor does it require creation of snowballs.
Boss Pet[edit]
The Glacor core, which unlocks the Gladys pet has a base drop rate between 1/18,000 and 1/3,000 in normal mode (depending on number of mechanics enabled), and 1/1,000 in hard mode. Gladys has a threshold of 500.
