Insects of the Desert is an activity in Menaphos that can be started by talking to Assistant Librarian Subotai in the Merchant district. Using dwarven tools on double experience mode, the effect of the Inferno adze, or the consume option on the Fury shark skilling outfit still allows insects to be obtained.
Level 52 fishing is required to start fishing in Menaphos.
All the insects and gems that can be found while fishing, can be found either in the Port discrict or the VIP skilling area.
