Creating a thousand cannonballs is a task in the Easy tier. It requires the completion of Dwarf Cannon, 250 iron ore and 250 coal ore.

Cannonballs[edit]
Cannonballs are ammunition used for the Dwarf multicannon, Kinetic cyclone, Oldak coil, and the barker toad familiar.
The completion of the quest Dwarf Cannon is required in order to make cannonballs.
Tips[edit]
- If the Ghosts Ahoy quest has been completed, then the Port Phasmatys furnace is an ideal location to smelt cannonballs. This furnace will smelt cannonballs at double the speed if the medium Morytania tasks are completed and the player is wearing the Morytania legs 2. This makes it the fastest location after earning the legs.
- Varrock Armour's effect of speeding up smelting will not work for smelting Cannonballs.
- Varrock South-West mine is the closest to a bank, May's Quest Caravan once the bank chest is unlocked from the Hub track for a cumulative cost of 125 quest points. Alternatively, the Lumbridge south-west mine is close to the Shattered World bank.
- One of the best ways to mine coal is to use skills necklace to teleport to Mining Guild, and bank using either the TokKul-Zo or the ring of duelling. Another great method is using the Lumbridge South-west mine and banking at the Shattered Worlds Banker. Having an ore box can help reduce the amount of trips to the bank. The forge and anvil with the close proximity to coal rocks in Barbarian Village make it a great spot for depositing coal into your metal bank at lower levels.
- Don't forget that coal ore might already be stored at the coal trucks in seer's village.
