The General's Shadow requires completion of the Fight Arena quest and Curse of Zaros miniquest, which gives it the following requirements:
- 15 Agility
- 50 Firemaking
- 10 Fletching
- 10 Herblore
- 50 Magic
- 50 Mining
- 31 Prayer
- 40 Ranged
- 20 Smithing
- 53 Thieving
