Tips and Tricks[edit]

The majority of K'ril's damage is dealt in melee range of the player, so a significant amount of hitpoints can be saved by kiting the boss around the room. It is best to stay near the walls to prevent K'ril from cutting corners to reach you. Turn off auto-retaliate (and ability queueing if needed) and use the protect from magic prayer to help with minion damage. Have food ready, as K'ril can hit very hard through prayer if something goes wrong.

At low levels, magic is the recommended style to use, as you can take advantage of the significantly stronger equipment you will have access to like Lunar equipment and the Guthix staff. Fire spells are K'ril's weakness in normal mode. It is also recommended to take advantage of the super pots and super restores sold on Mazcab for better stat boosts during the fight. The Mazcab shop also sells Eeligator, but you can get Premade ttl at cheaper prices from Gianne's Restaurant. Use of offensive prayers like Mystic might and Augury can also boost accuracy and damage rates. Beast of burden familiars and the Vampirism aura can help extend trips as well to prevent repeatedly gaining kill count. Antipoison can reduce damage as well, but the poison damage taken is minimal, so it isn't required.

Remember that your prayer is drained upon entering the Zamorak section of the dungeon, so remember to use the altar at the beginning of the fight if you are using prayer.
