If you're on this page, you've probably been referred here by a member of the in-game clan chat. There are a selection of questions which are asked several times a day - if you have one of those questions, please see below!

- Castaways - Requiring the Flag Fall miniquest (XM96) or Super Duper Secret Task #25 (PV68) to access the Arc, maps to six stranded NPCs can be found across the various islands, with various bottles visible each day (check the linked wiki page for more information);
- Cats of Menaphos - Requiring completion of the Jack of Spades quest (MWKY) to access Menaphos, a different cat will wander the city on each day of the week except Monday. They can be tricky to find, ask a clan member in game for help;
- Clans achievements - With no requirements, completing the five achievements found within the Miscellaneous section of the achievements interface will gain you an easy passive.
- Familiarisation - A weekly D&D with no requirements and no experience reward, your first six completions will grant you a piece of the Shaman's outfit, each of which is a passive task.
Seers Village easy diary
My task is Seers Village easy and I need to get hold of cider!
Your first thought when seeing this task might be "What in Gielinor is cider and how do I get it?!" Cider can be found in a single shop on Etceteria, which is questlocked behind Royal Trouble, a quest only encountered in medium tier. That means you must brew the cider yourself, requiring 14 Cooking. This is a process which can take several days, but Rule #4 accounts for timegated tasks and allows you to move on upon meeting every other requirement.
How do I make cider?
Cider can be brewed in either Keldagrim or Port Phasmatys. It is recommended to brew it in Keldagrim - access the city through the cave east of Rellekka and decline to start The Giant Dwarf when offered; subsequently you can use the minecarts in the Grand Exchange.
You will need 16 cooking apples to make four buckets of apple mush, and a pot of ale yeast - which can be purchased at the brewery. Bring an empty pot.
Cooking apples can be obtained in three ways:
- By picking them from an Apple Tree that you've grown, requiring 27 Farming;
- Three cooking apples spawn in the Cooking Guild, requiring 32 Cooking to enter;
- As a 2/128 drop from giant spiders, such as those east of Lumbridge castle.
Make your way to the brewery and use your apples on the apple barrel with four empty buckets in your inventory, then use the fermenting vat to start brewing your cider.
Once your cider is brewing, it has a random chance to brew every 12 hours, typically taking between 2 and 5 days. You should also note that your batch can go bad, in which case you will have to gather another set of ingredients.
Do I really have to wait days before I can get a new task?
No, Rule #4 states that when you have a timegated task such as this one, you are allowed to mark your task complete, when all other steps required for completion are done.
Easy Clue Items and Hidey-Holes
Every emote clue location which requires equipped items has an associated hidey-hole. If you do not have the appropriate Construction level (27 for easy hidey-holes), you are not allowed to train Construction to build them. Once you have the appropriate level, you may build the hidey-hole either as you roll the corresponding emote clue, or when your task requires you to gain Construction xp.
Emote clues often require you to have several different items equipped, some of which can be hard to come by. The rule of thumb is if a clue step would require you to quest or train skills to obtain an item or access a location, you are allowed to do so. See below for a list of commonly questioned items.
- Blue/Yellow Flowers: You are allowed to complete Waterfall Quest to obtain mithril seeds
- Bronze Spear: Spawns in the Haunted Mine. See Bronze Spear for more details
- Holy Symbol: Common drop from warped bats in the Lumbridge catacombs, requiring completion of the Blood Pact Quest. Otherwise requires 20 Mining, 16 Crafting and 31 Prayer
- Jewellery: You are allowed to train your Crafting (and Magic if making enchanted jewellery) to the appropriate level. Gold bars can be telegrabbed in the basement of Varrock West bank
- Unholy Symbol: You are allowed to complete Observatory Quest
Giant Oyster Usage
The Giant Oyster is unlocked on completion of the beginner task "Feed the Giant Oyster".
You can feed the oyster after that if you require fishing XP, and can claim the rewards if you're on a clue task.
Rolling the infernal d%
Due to a game bug, there is not currently an achievement popup for the 'Die! Die! Die!' achievement for completing all of Mephisto's puzzle boxes in the Infernal Source and using the Infernal d% to lower the chance of misteleportation to 1%.
You can still find the achievement marked complete in the Achievement UI, under Skills -> Archaeology -> Zamorakian for use in your #picture-proof posts.
Access to Morytania
Since 2012, Priest in Peril is no longer required to access Morytania. If you need to access the area before required to complete the quest by your task, you must simply go through the mausoleum at Paterdomus and kill the ghoul guarding the exit to Morytania.
