To most efficiently complete this task, you need a follower who has the foresight ability. This allows them to scout the paths ahead of you. The Easy Temple Trekking companion, Dean Vellio, will learn this ability at level 80. It is adviced to do regular treks until he reaches that level. You will need to turn this ability on before the trek by talking to the bald monk, Hiylik Myna, and asking about companion advice.

Once he knows the ability, you complete the first event. On the second event, you have Dean check all 3 paths. If none of them are the bridge, you lobby and then return with him. If it is the bridge, you complete the event (some bridge events are without Zombies). Lobbying will place you at the starting point. Rinse and repeat. Good Luck!
