Patch Notes/24 June 2020

General

Today we're launching a new version of our Taskmen site. This is a substantial redesign that Rompe has been working on for what, for him, feels like the last year. Because of the many changes, the Taskman website will be unavailable for a short period, but we can assure you, it's worth the wait.

The website should feel a lot quicker and smoother, especially on older hardware, and it has some new features like rotation timers on the homepage and the new unlock system. With this also comes the usual weekly patches.

• Rule 6 has been updated to include the part that now allows you to complete a quest if your task requires you to start it.
• Removed the Daemonheim Abilities from the Dungeoneering shop unlocks as they have their own dedicated task.

Beginner

• L5Y3 - Updated the description of the task "Construct a rope rack at the Baxtorian Falls house" to mention that training woodcutting for the oak logs is fair game.
• 5Y7Z - Updated the link on the task "Follow the Gold Brick Road" to the achievement itself.
• 1WK3 - Updated the link of the task "Loot the chest in Klenter’s Pyramid" to the achievement itself.
• 12Y6 - Updated the link of the task "Obtain an Archaeology soil box" to the item itself.
• LQ27 - Updated the link of the task "Offer the Unexpected Diplomacy relic to the mysterious monolith" to the relic itself.
• B86J - Updated the description of the task "Complete the Wolf Whistle quest".
• 9Y64 - Updated the description of the task "Complete the Monk's Friend quest".
• MZEZ - Updated the description of the task "Complete the Perils of Ice Mountain".
• 42GR - Updated the description of the task "Complete the Clock Tower quest".

Easy

• 58N4 - Added the task "Obtain a God Staff and unlock the Divine Storm spell" due to the removal of the 100% Beginner unlock.
• 1MBD - Updated the description of the task "Eat ALL the self-made Gnome food".
• VYZG - Added the task "Congratulations, you've unlocked the Easy tier perk - Going 70 off-road".

Medium

• 19BV - Updated the description of the task "Obtain a breedable pair of yaks" to make sure that a baby yak is obtained as a drop, due to it being required for an achievement.
• 2J97 - Added the task "Congratulations, you've unlocked the Medium tier perk - Step it up a notch, 80 now.".
• 3J8M - Added the task "Unlock the ability to buy further reaper assignments with Slayer points".

Hard

• VEGZ - Removed the task "Create 10 Obsidian golem pouches".
• NGRN - Added the task "Create 5 Spirit Phoenix pouches".
• 4W4Y - Updated description of "SDST #14" to include an additional step. The old task has been deleted and a new task has been added so that those who had it already completed do not miss that extra step. (D6QW removed)
• 7Z8N - Moved the task "Obtain a unique from Automatons" to the Hard tier.
• E66J - Moved the task "Use the Shard of Zaros on a Dark animica rock" to the Hard tier.
• X66Z - Moved the task "Deal the finishing blow to the Skeletal Horror using Zanik’s crossbow and using Bone bolts" to the Hard tier.
• E7WB - Added the task "Congratulations, you've unlocked the Hard tier perk - Does this thing go to 90?".
• X3MQ - Removed the task "Obtain a unique piece of Hydrix Jewelry".

Elite

• 6J8E - Added the task "Congratulations, you've unlocked the Elite tier perk - Better step on it, 99 now!".

Master

• WYXQ - Added the task "Congratulations! You can now complete and hand in Daily challenges at will.".

Legendary

• XM7R, 426Z - Added the Celestial surgebox and Magical blastbox to the Daemonheim Slayer unique-set. With that 2 tasks were added to the Legendary tier.

Passive

• 94VN - Moved the task “Check out the School of Jewels” to the Passive tier.
• 7J73 - Added the task "Obtain the Castle Wars hobbyist cape".
• KBDR - Added the task "Obtain the Castle Wars enthusiast cape".
• Q278, DR5D, W94D, REQX, Y7MD - Updated the descriptions of 5 Herby Werby related passives to better reflect that it can only be done for Herblore experience and not for Firemaking experience.
• V692 - Removed the task "Unlock the ability to buy additional Reaper tasks".
