Recently, we’ve had lots of questions asking whether we could give an indicator for whether a task gives an achievement, or not. It’s been expressed several times over that it’s hard to know when some tasks are actually completed, as most people are expecting an achievement. Going forward, look for the RuneScore icon next to the RuneMetrics icon when the task is on your Dashboard. If it’s present, it means that the task will give an achievement upon completion. Unlocks[edit]
New unlocks:
- Chronicles can now be caught during Divination tasks - unlocked upon completion of the Jar Generator task in the Medium tier, as the Chronicles give Hunter experience when caught.
Task Updates[edit]
Beginner[edit]
- LVE8 - Deleted a task to obtain the Goblin Cower shield, as it is forced by a task in the Hard tier.
Easy[edit]
- 5KQ3 - Removed a section of the Dagannoth King tasks’ description stating that you had to complete the Fremennik Trials quest to access the dungeon.
Medium[edit]
- 17YN, 3GB9, MZR7 - Added a requirement to start a Fairy Tale part II quest to the description of the tasks requiring you to repair the Fairy ring in the Ancient caverns, the Kharazi Jungle and the Lost Grove.
- W6NR - Moved Anukat from the Hard tier to Medium, as the VIP area in Menaphos is unlocked there.
- EKM2 - Moved a task for a Woodcutting/Firemaking unique from Menaphos from Hard tier to cover the VIP unique.
- 2GBJ - Moved a task for a Mining unique from Menaphos from Hard tier to cover the VIP unique.
Hard[edit]
- BRK6, MW8W, ZBG3, 99VY, 47NW, XGBV - Changed six Botanist outfit tasks to: “Obtain a unique from the Flash Powder Factory”, and created a unique-set holding both the Botanist’s and Rogue’s outfits.
- GW9J - Changed a Rogue’s equipment task to: “Obtain a unique from the Flash Powder Factory”.
- Y663 - Deleted a task to obtain the full Elite Black Knight’s armour, as it is obtained during While Guthix Sleeps, which is completed in the Medium tier.
Elite[edit]
- 529X, 3GM9 - Changed two Rogue’s equipment tasks to: “Obtain a unique from the Flash Powder Factory”.
- EXXV - Changed a duplicate Super Duper Secret Task # (#14), to #12, as the spot was open.
Master[edit]
- W3Y3, Q39J, DW4K - Added three Rise of the Six tasks from Elite to Master tier. The Malevolent armour does not count as a unique from Rise of the Six until Master tier. Note: If you have the energies for a piece and have rolled the task from Rots in Master tier, you're allowed to get the Smithing level. If you have the smithing level and energies before Master tier, you can only make them on a task requiring smithing experience
